Seatons Brazil Nut Oil

Brazil nut oil is produced from the brazil nut (Bertholletia excelsa), which grows on a South American tree from the family Lecythidaceae. It is also known as almendras, castanas-do-Para and castana-do-Acre. The brazil nut tree is native to the Guianas, Venezuela, Brazil, eastern Columbia, eastern Peru and eastern Bolivia. The trees are scattered in large forests on the banks of the Amazon, Rio Negro and the Orinoco.
